Shalom Farms is a Richmond-based nonprofit that partners with organizations across the region to provide meaningful access to healthy food. Following their 2021 Nonprofit PIP Award win, the organization launched a new website designed to reflect their mission, engage diverse audiences, and support long-term sustainability.

The site features a warm, approachable design with an earthy color palette, authentic photography, and clean typography that mirrors the spirit of the farm. Hand-drawn illustrations are woven throughout the design, adding a personal, human touch that softens the experience and reinforces the sense of community. Content strategy, site mapping, and technical guidance were provided to ensure the site was easy for users to navigate and simple for staff to update. The structure supports storytelling and resource-sharing for volunteers, donors, and program participants—resulting in a flexible, mission-driven platform built to grow with the organization.
