For my father’s 70th birthday, I gathered photos, letters, cards and poems from his closest family and friends — some of which he hadn’t heard from or seen in years. I created this book, highlighting those images and using a combination of letters and quotes to shape the story of his life.

I utilized a softer, more neutral color palette that accented the photos while and used a variety of font types to add emphasis where needed. This gift was presented at his surprise birthday party, where contributors to the book were gathered and were able to see their words in print.
