For a third year, I joined up with the little artists at Connor’s Heroes to create work for their Art Ball! Their annual event raises money that will provide hope, guidance and support to families facing pediatric cancer. I’ve been an Artist Leader several times now, and working with their Childhood Heroes to create works of art for their auction is a project I treasure.

This year, we used black glue to draw three-dimensional, overlapping shapes. Once they dried, the Heroes and I filled them in with watercolor and layered them with acrylics, ink, and metallics. As a second project, we created 15 mini canvases using acrylics and sold them at the Art Ball. I loved them so much that I bought one for my office!
